I think there is a difference between the sentences. One (the second one) seems to be already established and to belong to Christ and then living out a life for God. The other is claiming Christ, almost squatting or renting Christ's redemptive covering. I think as christians we are more like the claiming Christ group because we would never be able to enter God's presence without Christ's blood. We are not automatically born into his kingdom because of our sin seperating us so we must claim Jesus blood and then are given freedom to be accepted into living a life for God...Does that make sense??
